I stupidly left my toothbrush behind while traveling, and was forced to buy a random colgate brush in a pinch. The problem – no one told me that the thing was made to clean barbecue grills. seriously.
I brushed with it and cut my gum above one of my front teeth fairly intensely. There was no wound or anything immediately afterwards, so I didn’t sweat it (probably not a good idea). But then, several weeks later the spot where I cut it began to swell into a small bubble. Ugh.
It’s still small and doesn’t appear to be getting any bigger, but it’s definitely not getting any smaller. Frustrating to say the least.
Any suggestions? Recommended oral rinses or home remedies, or anything of that sort?
I’m hoping this isn’t something only a dentist can fix, because I’m one of the countless uninsured unfortunately.
Any help is appreciated!
